Lighthouse Studios is a 2D animation studio located in the beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny, Ireland.  Creating story-driven entertainment for both adults and kids, the studio develops its own IP and works with content giants such as Apple TV+, Amazon, Netflix and Warner Bros. Its crew is made up of over 20 nationalities and has an almost equal gender split. It is one of the fastest growing animation companies in Ireland. Based in the stunning Hogwarts style building that is Kieran's College, it has the luxury of lots of space set in very green surroundings. Set up in 2017 it is owned by Mercury Filmworks in Canada and Cartoon Saloon in KK.

The Animation and Rigging Team at Lighthouse Studios is responsible for bringing characters to life through meticulous animation and sophisticated rigging. This includes preparing scenes, character builds, and rigging for various productions, including feature films and streaming content. The team works on creating fluid and expressive movements while ensuring that the characters can be easily manipulated for both 2D and cutout animation. They collaborate closely with layout artists, background artists, and FX designers to ensure that all elements merge seamlessly to tell compelling stories.
