Karen Wallace has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Karen began their career in 1986 as an Accountant at Zilog. Karen then joined Maxtor Corporation in 1988, where they held various accounting roles, including Accountant and Accounting Manager. In 2003, they became a Cost Accountant at Medtronic Navigation and stayed there until 2007. Karen then worked as a General Accounting Manager at Ice-O-Matic/Mile High Equipment for a short period in 2007. From 2008 to 2009, Karen served as an Assistant Controller at Embla Systems, handling cash forecasting, accounting, payroll, taxes, and audits. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Tax Accountant at JBS Swift USA. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Branch Manager at Whitman County Library, responsible for event planning, material selection, and computer support. In 2015, they became the Clerk/Treasurer at the Town of Malden, performing comprehensive accounting duties, along with other responsibilities. Karen later joined Seeds, Inc. as a Controller from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Karen is working as a Cost and Revenue Accountant at Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions, starting in 2021.

Karen Wallace attended Rosalia High School from 1972 to 1976, where they pursued a college preparatory curriculum. Later, from 1996 to 1998, they studied at the University of Phoenix and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Further advancing their education, Karen enrolled at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting.
