Dan Brassil

Dan Brassil currently serves as Executive Director of Search & Information Retrieval at Lighthouse, a position held since August 2021, after progressing through roles including Senior Director and Principal Consultant within the same company. Prior to Lighthouse, Dan Brassil was with H5 from June 2010 to August 2021, serving as Principal Consultant and holding various positions from 2005 to 2010, including Associate Director of Professional Services and Manager of Linguistic Technology. Earlier experience includes a role as an Instructor at the University of California at San Diego from 1999 to 2005, teaching courses in Italian and Linguistics. Dan Brassil earned a CPhil in Linguistics from UC San Diego and a BA in Language Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
