Robert Gatdula

Robert Gatdula is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in software development and testing, particularly in photonics and LiDAR technologies. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Lightmatter, Robert previously held the position of Senior Test Software Engineer at Aeva, where significant contributions included architecting a distributed software system for manufacturing tests and developing a LiDAR Python API. Prior roles include R&D Engineer at PsiQuantum, focusing on software suites for photonic devices, and various academic positions at Rutgers University, where Robert contributed to research and assisted in teaching. Robert has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University, complemented by a B.S. in the same field.
