Tushar Wakharkar

Tushar Wakharkar has a solid work experience in the semiconductor industry. Tushar is currently working as a Principal SoC Architect at Lightmatter since November 2023. Previously, they held the position of Principal ASIC Engineer at Microsoft from March 2023 to November 2023. Before that, they worked as an ASIC Design Engineer at Fungible, Inc. from November 2021 to March 2023. Tushar also has extensive experience at major companies like Apple, where they worked as a Design Engineer from May 2017 to November 2021. Prior to that, they spent a significant part of their career at Juniper Networks, starting in January 2001 as a Senior ASIC/Hardware Engineer and working on various roles from individual contributor to lead and architect. Tushar also had earlier experiences at Philips Semiconductors as a Staff Engineer and at Wipro Technologies as a Hardware Specialist.

Tushar Wakharkar completed a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1993 to 1995. Tushar also obtained a Bachelor's degree (B.E.) in Electronics from the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, Tushar Wakharkar has obtained certifications from Aspencore, offered by Goldcast Inc., in the year 2023.
