Jatheen Anand

Jatheen Anand has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Jatheen is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Lightning AI since June 2022. Before that, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Cohesity from July 2020 to June 2022, where they also held the position of Senior Director of Engineering, Data Protection from December 2017 to July 2020.

Prior to Cohesity, Jatheen was the Director of Engineering at Veritas Technologies LLC from July 2015 to November 2017. In this role, they were responsible for building and launching backup data storage devices with advanced features such as deduplication, encryption, and security.

Before Veritas, Jatheen worked at Symantec in various engineering and management positions. Some of their notable roles include Director of Engineering, Appliance & Cloud Group from June 2014 to June 2015, Senior Manager, Appliance & Cloud Group from October 2011 to May 2014, and Engineering Manager, Appliances & Cloud Group from August 2009 to September 2011.

Jatheen started their career as a Software Engineer at Veritas Software in June 2002. Jatheen also worked as a Web Developer at California State University, Sacramento from 2000 to 2002 and as a Production Officer at Arvind Limited from 1998 to 2000.

Jatheen Anand holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University. They also have a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento. In addition, Jatheen has obtained a certification as a SAFe Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc.
