Paul Thornton

Paul Thornton is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in network engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as CTO and Network Director at Lightning Fibre since June 2020, Paul also holds the position of Senior Consultant at PRT Systems Ltd, delivering high-end consultancy services and overseeing the transit ISP side. Additional roles include CTO at Dico Limited and Neo-Tel Ltd, and Director at Smiles and Styles, where responsibilities included a range of operational tasks. Early career highlights include serving as Data Centre Architect/IP Engineer at PSINet, where Paul designed and implemented global datacentres, and as Senior Network Engineer at LINX. Paul began professional training as a Network Engineer at PSINet and as an Electronic Design Engineer at SJ Research.
