Senior Director, Global Service Delivery at LightRiver Companies

Brian Schamber has diverse work experience that spans various industries. Brian began their career in 2009 as a Service Technician at Cyclone Motorsports & Offroad, where they played a crucial role in setting up the business and performing service and fabrication jobs.

In 2013, Brian joined UC Davis Baja SAE as the Chief Engineer, responsible for overseeing the design and fabrication of multiple subsystems for the UC Davis Baja SAE car. Their extensive knowledge of off-highway vehicles and hands-on experience made him a great fit for the position.

Brian then moved on to work at LightRiver Companies, starting as an Associate Field Engineer in 2014. Brian worked on deploying large area optical networks, interfacing directly with customers, scheduling, troubleshooting, and coordinating outside plant fiber remediations.

Throughout their time at LightRiver Companies, Brian progressed to roles such as Field Engineer, Production Engineering Manager, and Director Project Engineering. In these positions, they managed teams, trained new hires, deployed optical networks, and ensured the financial performance and success of projects.

Currently, Brian serves as the Senior Director, Global Service Delivery at LightRiver Companies, where they lead the global service delivery team and continues to contribute their expertise in optical and data networks.

Brian Schamber completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis between the years 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended Eastside High School from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Brian obtained various certifications including "Financial Analysis for Nonfinancial Managers" from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in December 2022, "Finance and Accounting for the Nonfinancial Professional" from Columbia Business School Executive Education in April 2022, "Amateur Radio Technician License" from the Federal Communications Commission in August 2018, and they also obtained an "Engineer-In-Training" certification in December 2014.
