Matt Briley

Matt Briley has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry, holding various senior leadership roles in sales and engineering. Matt is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Network Solutions Engineering at LightRiver Companies, a position they have held since July 2023. Before that, Matt was the SVP of Sales at LightRiver Companies from January to July 2023. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as the SVP of Service Provider Sales at the same company. Prior to their time at LightRiver Companies, Matt served as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Fiber Smart Networks from March 2020 to January 2021. Matt was also the Vice President of MSO Sales at Congruex, LLC from July 2019 to March 2020. Before transitioning into sales roles, Matt gained expertise in the telecommunications industry through positions such as Americas Business Center Optics Leader at Nokia from August 2015 to July 2019 and Director of Sales at Infinera from August 2006 to March 2012. Their career began as a Transmission Engineer at MCI, and they have held various other engineering and management roles at companies such as Ciena and ONI Systems.

Matt Briley attended the University of Oklahoma from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
