Moshe Sambol

Moshe Sambol has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 1998, they began their career as a Member of Technical Staff at GTE Laboratories, where they worked on the development of a next-generation IP Call Center and supporting telephony infrastructure. In 2000, they moved to Agency.com as a Lead Technical Consultant. In 2001, they became a Software Engineer at JP Morgan Chase. From 2003 to 2006, they worked at Business Layers / Netegrity / Computer Associates as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were awarded the MVP Award in 2004. In 2006, they moved to BMC Software as a Senior Product Developer. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Oracle and Sun Microsystems, first as a Software Development Manager and then as a Software Architect. In 2012, they joined Google as a Cloud Customer Engineering Manager and Solutions Consultants Manager, and in 2022, they became the Head of Solution Engineering at Lightrun.

Moshe Sambol attended Columbia University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a BS and MS in Computer Science. In 2019, they obtained two Google Cloud certifications: Google Cloud Certified Professional Security Engineer and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect. In 2023, they obtained a FinOps Certified Practitioner certification from The Linux Foundation. Moshe also has a Shaping up with Angular.js certification from Code School.
