Joe Leavitt

Joe has over 10 years of experience in the engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance of complex, mission-critical systems. Joe is Delorean’s technical lead with responsibility for all aspects of the project engineering and construction pipeline from concept to delivery. Prior to Delorean, Joe served in the Navy as a leader in major programs for the design and construction of nuclear powered submarines. Following an initial tour as a submarine officer, Joe led waterfront efforts on the delivery of multi-million person-hour submarine construction projects and led cross-organizational and multi-disciplinary design teams in the engineering of the latest submarine platforms and technologies. Joe holds a Naval Engineer’s degree and SM in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and BS in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
