Brian Brackeen

Brian Brackeen is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Managing Partner at Lightship Capital since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the Lightship Anchor Fund, which supports diverse fund managers across the Americas, Africa, and Europe. Additionally, Brian is a General Partner at Lightship Venture Capital Fund I, focusing on technology-driven startups led by underrepresented professionals. Prior to this, Brian founded Kairos Inc., an AI company specializing in face recognition technology. Experience also includes roles as Senior Project Manager at Apple, leading global expansion of People Systems, and extensive work as a Kronos specialist at various companies including Infocrossing, Ahold USA, IBM, and ADP. Brian is currently enhancing entrepreneurship skills through the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School.
