Alexis Alston

Alexis Alston currently serves as a Partner at Lightship Capital, focusing on investing in exceptional seed stage founders in the Midwest and South, while advocating for inclusive capital access for underrepresented entrepreneurs. Previously, Alexis worked as a Principal and Senior Associate at Lightship Capital, contributing to initiatives that support entrepreneurs often overlooked by traditional investors. In addition, Alexis is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Director of the Breakthrough Lab at Brown University, where leadership is provided for a student-centered summer entrepreneurship program. Earlier experience includes roles as an Analyst at Advantage Capital and an Ecommerce Analyst Intern at Homesite Insurance, alongside an internship at Chatham Capital. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business from Brown University.
