Ryan Thomas

Ryan Thomas has over 20 years of experience in IT security and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Ryan is currently working as a Director at Lightship Security, Inc. Since joining the company in 2022. Before that, they were the Director / Global FIPS Lead at Acumen Security for six years starting in 2016. Prior to that, Ryan worked as the FIPS 140-2 Program Manager at CGI from 2011 to 2016, where they were responsible for the FIPS 140-2 cryptographic module validation program. Ryan also gained experience at Deloitte as a Manager of Security and Privacy Services for four years, and at IBM Canada Ltd. as an IT Advisory Specialist - Security for one year.
