Lightsmith Energy is a performance-driven energy technology company specializing in forecasting, optimization, and simulation products for Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) across the United States. Our mission is to transform DERs—from rooftop solar and batteries to aggregated portfolios—into revenue-generating grid assets that deliver sustained value across the energy ecosystem.

We provide powerful tools and services to battery energy storage OEMs, system integrators, distributors, installers, builders, rental property companies, and asset portfolio owners, enabling them to unlock greater savings and revenue through intelligent grid services participation. As grid programs and value streams rapidly expand across the country, Lightsmith Energy ensures your systems are not just connected, but actively contributing and earning.

Through advanced analytics, intelligent dispatch modeling, and market-aligned performance simulation, our platform empowers DERs to maximize participation in demand response, virtual power plant programs, and other emerging grid opportunities, without requiring redesigns, redevelopment, or technical lift.

At Lightsmith, we don’t just model performance—we enable it.
