Edwin Mawdsley

Edwin Mawdsley is a Principal Environmental Planner (MRTPI) at Lightsource bp, specializing in renewable energy applications, particularly in solar and battery projects. With a background in public, consultancy, and client-side roles, they oversee and manage renewable applications from site selection to construction and operation. Edwin has a diverse experience across various planning consents, including TCPA, DNS, and NSIPs, and has also engaged in post-permission matters. Previously, they served as a Senior Planner at AECOM and an NSIP Case Manager at The Planning Inspectorate. Edwin holds a Master's degree in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Liverpool.
