Hugh McCrea

Hugh McCrea currently serves as Legal Counsel at Lightsource bp since August 2023. Prior to this role, Hugh worked at DLA Piper from August 2017 to July 2023, where duties included serving as an Associate in Projects and completing a Trainee Solicitor program with placements in Global Trade and Government Affairs, Energy and Infrastructure Projects, Construction, and Litigation and Arbitration. Additionally, Hugh was a Legal Advisor (Secondee) at ADNOC Group from July 2022 to May 2023, focusing on Downstream, Marketing and Trading. Hugh's early experience includes a role as a Marketing Intern in Real Estate at DLA Piper from June 2015 to February 2016. Academic qualifications include an LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management from The University of Law (2016-2017) and an LLB Hons in Law from Durham University (2011-2014), following education at King Edward VI Grammar School (2004-2011).
