Jon Lowne

Jon Lowne has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and digital. Jon is currently working at Lightsource bp as the Global Head of IT & Digital. Prior to this, they served as the Head of IT at Lightsource bp. Before joining Lightsource bp, Jon worked at AMETEK Airtechnology Group as the Group Information Technology Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing business systems and local infrastructure, as well as implementing infrastructure initiatives. Jon also has extensive experience at Parker Hannifin, where they served as the Enterprise Systems Manager with global ownership of various corporate functions. Jon was responsible for ERP development and management of in-house systems. Jon's earlier experience includes roles at Hallmark Cards, Notifier by Honeywell, and Eli Lilly, where they gained expertise in business systems management, IT support, and system analysis.

Jon Lowne's education history begins in 1994 when they attended the University of Brighton, where they pursued a degree in HND Computing. Jon continued their studies at the same institution from 1995 to 1999, completing a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General.

In addition to their formal education, Jon Lowne has obtained several certifications. In 2008, they achieved the ITIL V3 Foundation certification from APMG International. Later that year, they also completed the Taking Charge of Change Leadership program offered by Parker Hannifin. In 2014, Jon obtained the Prince 2 Practitioner Certification and Agile Project Management with Scrum certification, both from APMG International. Two years later, in 2015, they acquired the Diversity & Inclusion certification from Parker Hannifin. Most recently, in December 2022, Jon completed the Brilliant Leaders program offered by Lightsource bp.
