Robert Teal

Robert Teal currently serves as a Senior Analyst in Structured Finance at Lightsource bp since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Project Finance Intern at Scout Clean Energy, where financial models for utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects were developed. Previous internships include an MBA Internship at Tennessee Valley Authority focusing on digital transformation solutions, a consultancy position with Eco-Products conducting market research, and a summer internship with the City of Nashville Department of Sustainability. Robert's career began with significant experience in the U.S. Coast Guard as a lead surfboat crew member, followed by a role as a Forestry Technician with the U.S. Forest Service. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Clean Energy Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science: Geology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
