Joshua Kim

Joshua Kim is the current Head of Data Science at Lightspark. Prior to this, they were a Senior Research Scientist at Meta from July 2020 to June 2022. Joshua also interned at Facebook from June 2019 to September 2019 as part of the Core Data Science team. Joshua's other internships include Quora from June 2018 to September 2018 and Stanford University from August 2015 to June 2020. Joshua was also a Research Fellow at the California Institute of Technology from June 2013 to August 2014. Joshua's research assistant positions include the University of Washington from October 2012 to May 2013.

Joshua Kim received a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Stanford University, a Master of Arts in Economics from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Mathematics from the University of Washington. Joshua is also certified from PADI in Open Water Diver.

They work with Christian Catalini - Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer, Tomer Barel - Co-Founder & Operating Partner, and Jessica Filipovich - Human Resources Director. Their manager is David Marcus, Co-Founder & CEO.
