Kathy Carlson, CAPM, has over 20 years of experience in project and warehouse management. Kathy began their career in 1980 as an SK1(SW) Storekeeper First Class with the US Navy, where they specialized in logistics and inventory management and participated in the implementation of a Material Maintenance Management System. Kathy then moved to Signal Corporation in 1997 as a Senior Logistics Specialist, followed by The Valspar Corporation in 1998 as a Supply Chain Manager. In 2006, they joined Advantage Oregon as a Senior Logistics Analyst, and in 2010, they joined Lightspeed, A Learning Company as a Production & Warehouse Manager. At Lightspeed, they also held positions as a Project Manager, Manufacturing Manager/Project Manager, Field Service Project Manager, and Field Service Coordinator. In their role as Project Manager, they led the PMO through project development and/or management of over 23 projects, including a warehouse cooling project and a service project in which they designed, developed, and implemented a new service tool to improve efficiency using Salesforce and NetSuite.

Kathy Carlson, CAPM has an education history that includes 12 years of service in the US Navy from 1980 to 1992, where they studied Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Kathy then attended Metro State University from 2003 to present, studying General Studies. Additionally, they have taken various courses in Logistics since 1998 without obtaining any degree. In July 2014, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
