Zach Heise

Zach Heise has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Zach began their career at Pacific Plastics & Engineering as a Project Engineer from August 2005 to July 2006. Zach then worked at K2 Sports as a Mechanical Test Engineer from November 2006 to October 2007, followed by a role as a Mechanical Design Engineer for K2 Snowboard Bindings from October 2007 to October 2010. From January 2011 to October 2012, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer (Contract) at Enlight Technologies Inc. Zach then joined Leatherman Tool Group, where they worked as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer from October 2012 to June 2017 before transitioning to the role of Senior Project Manager from June 2017 to October 2019. Zach's next position was at Smith Optics, where they served as a Product Development Project Manager from October 2019 to August 2020. Most recently, they worked at Sigma Design, Product Design and Engineering as an Engineering Project Manager from August 2020 to February 2023. Currently, Zach is employed as a Technical Program Manager at Lightspeed starting from March 2023.

Zach Heise has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they earned from 2000 to 2004. Zach further pursued their education by completing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University, from 2010 to 2012.
