Daan de Ruiter

Daan de Ruiter is a seasoned software developer with a strong background in data science and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Lightspeed Commerce since June 2023, Daan previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Imagr and as a Data Science Tech Lead at Picnic Technologies, where responsibilities included leading the data science team and contributing to MLOps initiatives. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Data Scientist and Junior Data Scientist, as well as an internship at Tohoku University focused on magnetic research. Daan holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Technology from the University of Twente.
