Robert Lyon

Robert Lyon is a Vice President and the Controller at Lightyear Capital.

Prior to joining Lightyear in 2022, Mr. Lyon was Vice President at Sanne Group, managing an international team providing fund administration services in the private equity space. Prior to joining Sanne Group, he was a Fund Accounting Manager at AEA Investors primarily responsible for the finance, accounting and tax functions for the middle market and small business strategies. Previously, Mr. Lyon was a Senior Fund Accountant at WL Ross and Co., a distressed private equity firm, responsible for financial reporting and regulatory filings. Mr. Lyon started his career at Ernst & Young LLP where he audited banks and private equity funds, as well as consulting services.

Mr. Lyon holds a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
