Lightyear Medical is a physician-led network focused on environments where ordinary healthcare models break down — high-risk manufacturing, EMS, rescue, aerospace, defense, logistics, and other mission-critical operations. We design and lead EMS medical direction and on-site clinical programs that keep teams safe, compliant, and mission-ready when the stakes are high and the environment is unforgiving.

Every out-of-hospital clinician requires a physician medical director; Lightyear turns that legal requirement into an operational advantage. We provide full-scope medical direction for EMT, paramedic, and nurse-led response teams: protocol development, quality assurance, chart review, documentation infrastructure, telemedicine support, and continuing education that are built to exceed state requirements and 24/7 facility demands.

Our physicians bring backgrounds in EMS, rescue, disaster response, retrieval medicine, spaceflight support, occupational health, and other forms of austere medicine, aligning clinical oversight with the realities of remote, industrial, and high-consequence work. Lightyear Medical serves as an embedded medical partner, helping employers build resilient systems, defined scope of practice, and accountable clinical standards for responders on the ground.

For organizations that cannot afford to get medical direction wrong, Lightyear Medical offers engaged physician leadership, custom EMR solutions, and 24/7 access designed around operational fit and long-term safety performance.
