Cale Smith has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Most recently, they worked at Like Family as a Customer Care Representative, where they provided day-to-day assistance in connecting the aged community and people living with disabilities to suitable carers across Australia. Lastly, Cale worked as a Night Filler at iga, where they gained experience in various areas such as bakery, dairy, groceries, check-out, and fruit and veg. Cale worked on various shifts, including nights, early mornings, and day shifts.

Cale Smith's education history started in 2007 when they attended Manjimup Senior High School and completed the High School Certificate of Competence Program in 2008. Cale then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree with a focus on Engineering Foundations at Curtin University from 2010 to 2011. Following that, Cale continued their studies at Curtin University and completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering between 2011 and 2016.
