Phil Cafaro

Phil Cafaro has a solid work experience in the field of controls and instrumentation engineering. Phil started their career as an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Co-op at Packaging Corporation of America in 2012. Phil then worked as a Control Systems Engineer at Dynalectric San Diego from 2015 to 2019, where they developed and supported control system designs for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Phil then joined Green Thumb Industries (GTI) in 2019 as an Operational Technology Engineer, leading full-facility process controls and building management system designs. Phil also contributed as a controls engineering subject matter expert (SME) at a national level. In 2022, they joined Eat Just, Inc. as a Senior Project-Process Engineer. Currently, Phil is working as a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer at Lilac Solutions, Inc. starting in 2023.

Phil Cafaro attended the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Phil also studied at the University of Florida during the same period, majoring in Chemical Engineering and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree.
