Kevin Chien has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Kevin started their career as a Software Engineer at D-Link in 2009, where they worked on smart home IoT projects. Kevin then moved on to QNAP Systems, Inc., where they served as a Senior Software Engineer for a year, contributing to the development of an IoT platform for NAS devices. At D-Link, Kevin worked as a Senior Software Engineer on IoT smart home projects for two years. In 2015, they joined Ubiquiti Networks as a Software Engineer, specializing in Linux kernel driver development, OpenWRT system development, and device log collection and analysis system development. Since 2016, Kevin has been a part of LILEE Systems, where they initially worked as a Senior Software Engineer on a cloud project involving the management of transposition gateway devices. Currently, they hold the position of Technical Lead, specifically working on the SafeRail project. Their responsibilities include solution design, development, and integration of wayside signaling systems and onboard train control systems.
Kevin Chien pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. In 2003, they enrolled in the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and completed their Bachelor's degree in 2006. Subsequently, they went on to pursue a Master's degree at the National Central University from 2007 to 2009.
