John Veron

John Veron is an experienced manager and advisor with a strong background in organizational development and program management. Currently serving as the Manager of the Organisational Development / Program Management Team at Liliane Fonds since June 2018, John oversees a team focused on capacity development programs across multiple countries in Africa, including Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. John co-founded and served on the board of Article 1 Collective and Stichting Plant een Olijfboom, both centered on human rights and advocacy. Previous roles include Program Coordinator for the MENA Region & Pakistan at Free Press Unlimited and several positions at ICCO Cooperation, where John managed programs in the Middle East and Brazil, focusing on human rights and democratization. With a Master's degree in Policy Oriented Environmental Science and Development Studies from Radboud University, John has a comprehensive skill set in strategic planning, advocacy, and capacity building within various international contexts.
