Tabor Shiles is a skilled artist and educator specializing in printmaking. Currently serving as a Resident Artist at Lillstreet Art Center since September 2015, Tabor engages in personal projects, teaches classes and workshops, and supports students while maintaining a well-organized studio. Previous experience includes roles as Assistant Shop Manager at Baker Prints from June 2014 to 2017, where responsibilities involved assisting print runs and managing ink preparation and packaging, as well as an internship at Chicago Printmakers Collaborative from July 2014 to May 2015, focusing on class assistance and event management. Tabor also has experience as a Print Shop Monitor at Savannah College of Art and Design and completed internships at Straw Hat Press and The Print Center in Philadelphia. Before pursuing art, Tabor worked as a Sailing Instructor at Avalan Yacht Club. Tabor holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Printmaking from Savannah College of Art and Design, completed in 2014.
