Joe Shih, Ph.D., is a Venture Partner with Lilly Asia Ventures (LAV). Prior to joining LAV, Joe has over 30 years’ experience in new drug discovery and development. He held various positions in academic institution as well as biopharmaceutical companies, including Director and Distinguished Investigator, Institute of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Research, National Health Research Institute; Chief Scientific Officer and EVP, Crown Bioscience Inc.; Distinguished Lilly Scholar, Lilly Research Laboratories, Eli Lilly and Company. He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from The Ohio State University and received postdoc training from Harvard University.
