Ruth Lefan

Ruth LeFan is an experienced therapist currently serving at EmpowerOKC, part of Lilyfield, since June 2021, focusing on children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma and behavioral issues. Previous experience includes a school counseling internship at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, where Ruth provided individual counseling and classroom guidance lessons, and a social work internship with Oklahoma Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (OKLEND), aimed at leadership in services for children with developmental disabilities. Additional roles encompass coordinating spiritual development events at Oklahoma Christian University, mentoring youth at New Hope Church of Christ, and supporting feeding programs through Feed the Children. Ruth holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma and a B.S. in Family Science from Oklahoma Christian University.
