Laura Healy

Laura Healy's work experience includes a variety of roles in admissions and recruitment. Laura started their career at American Pool Management as a Lifeguard from 2006 to 2010. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at the University of Delaware in various positions, including Blue Hen Ambassador and Mass Communication Student. Laura then had internships at Lippe Taylor and UDress Magazine in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, Laura worked as an Account Coordinator at Lippe Taylor and as a PR & Marketing Assistant at FYB Designs. Laura also worked as an Admissions Enrollment Operations Office Assistant at The New School in 2013. In 2014, Laura joined LIM College as an Associate Admissions Counselor and later became an Admissions Counselor. Laura then worked as an Assistant Director of Admissions, Transfer Services and as an Associate Director of Recruitment before being promoted to Director of Admissions and Events in 2021. Laura is currently the Director of Academic Support Services at LIM College. Additionally, they served as a UD Career Advisor - Alumni Volunteer at the University of Delaware from 2017 to 2021.

Laura Healy obtained a Master of Education Administration (MSed) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Baruch College from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations from the University of Delaware from 2008 to 2012. Laura completed their high school education at Massapequa High School from 2004 to 2008. In addition, Laura Healy has obtained various certifications in areas such as learning platforms, effective listening, project management, interpersonal communication, time management, and creating a culture of learning, primarily through LinkedIn.
