Christophe Sallaud

Christophe Sallaud is an experienced professional in plant biotechnology, currently serving as the Gene Discovery Platform Manager at LIMAGRAIN EUROPE since May 2019, leading a team focused on enhancing agronomic performance in maize and wheat. Prior to this role, Christophe held the position of Manager of Research at Biogemma from January 2007 to May 2019, overseeing a transgenesis platform and coordinating various gene discovery projects, specializing in biotechnology, GM, gene editing, and functional genomics. Earlier career experiences include project leadership at Librophyt, postdoctoral research at CIRAD and Chulabhorn Research Institute, and teaching as a visiting lecturer at a technology institute in Thailand. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from Paris-Sud University and master's degrees in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biochemistry.
