Mark Gibson

Mark Gibson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and outdoor activities. Since September 1997, Mark has served as the Cycling Centre Operations Manager at Bristol City Council, managing a family cycling centre. In addition to this role, Mark has been a teacher in both indoor and outdoor settings and has worked as a residential learning facilitator for The Garden Classroom since February 2019. Mark also holds freelance outdoor educator positions with GGOL and has been part of the ground crew for Ballooning Network Ltd since September 1997, focusing on customer service. Other experience includes working as a delivery driver for Deliveroo, engaging in bar kitchen hospitality with limber., and leading forest and beach school programs for South Gloucestershire Council and Better Out Than In. Mark’s early career included sales advisory roles at John Lewis & Partners and Stanfords. Mark obtained a PGCE in Education and a BSc in Geography from Edge Hill University.
