Joshua Pelz is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in materials science and engineering. As the Co-Founder and CEO of LIMBER Prosthetics and Orthotics since February 2020, Joshua has leveraged expertise gained through a postdoctoral research fellowship at Qualcomm Institute - UC San Diego Division of Calit2. Prior to this, Joshua served as a Journeyman Fellow at the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory and was a graduate student researcher at the University of California San Diego, focusing on additive manufacturing of ceramic composites for armor applications. Additional early experience includes roles at Oregon Health & Science University and the Colorado School of Mines, where Joshua contributed to advanced ceramic processing and biomedical research. Joshua earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from UC San Diego and a BS in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
