Joseph Oxborrow has a diverse work experience in various industries. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Programmer at BYU Magazine, where they led a team of programmers and maintained department servers while also programming websites using PHP, Javascript, and MySQL.
From 2010 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant at BYU EE, where they modeled, fabricated, tested, and analyzed data from bio-sensors. Joseph also developed SAM deposition for and functionalized microcantilever arrays and used a Class 10 cleanroom for fabricating microfluidics.
In 2014, Joseph worked as a Process Engineer at SB Microsystems, focusing on process engineering tasks. During the same period, they also had a similar role at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
From 2018 to 2019, they were a Part-time Firefighter at Onalaska Fire Department, responding to medical and fire emergencies in Onalaska, WI, and augmenting full-time staffing.
Most recently, since August 2019, Joseph has been working as a Software Developer at Limble CMMS.
Joseph Oxborrow completed their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Joseph obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Brigham Young University, graduating in 2011. Joseph then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution between 2011 and 2013.
In addition to their formal education, Joseph Oxborrow has also obtained several certifications in various areas. In 2018, they completed the "JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures" certification from freeCodeCamp. Joseph also obtained certifications in "Learning Backbone.js," "Learning Git and GitHub," "WordPress Plugins: SEO," "Building a Responsive Single-Page Design with Sass," and "Sass Essential Training" from LinkedIn, all in the same year.
