Senior Manager, Market Expansion at Lime

Elysa Smigielski has a diverse work experience. Elysa is currently working at Lime as a Senior Manager in Market Expansion since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Town of Chapel Hill, NC as a Senior Planner from November 2020 to May 2022, and as a Residential Zoning Plan Reviewer from November 2020 to November 2021. Before their roles in the town, Elysa volunteered for Code for Atlanta from July 2020 to November 2020, where they were a Researcher, Insights Generator, and Volunteer.

Earlier in their career, Elysa worked at RSG - Resource Systems Group, Inc. as a Proposal Coordinator from May 2019 to July 2020. Elysa also gained experience as a Planner at Rutland Regional Planning Commission, where they redesigned town planning documents using participatory research methods and won the Vermont Planner's Association Town Plan of the Year in 2016.

During their time at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, Elysa served as a GIS Teaching Assistant from September 2012 to December 2014 and as an Environmental Science Teaching Assistant from January 2013 to May 2013. Additionally, they worked as a GIS Intern at the City of Centerville, Ohio from June 2014 to August 2014.

Lastly, Elysa had an internship at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation as a Social Assessment Intern from May 2012 to August 2012, and they served as an Engagement Fellow at the Syracuse Center of Excellence from June 2010 to July 2011.

Elysa Smigielski completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine Art and Geography at Syracuse University from 2006 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued further education at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. From 2011 to 2014, they earned their Master of Science degree in Environmental and Community Land Planning.

Additionally, Elysa Smigielski obtained two certifications. In April 2020, they completed a certification in UX Design and Front End Dev from CareerFoundry. In July 2020, they achieved a certification in User Research Methods and Best Practices from the Interaction Design Foundation.
