John Podczerwinsky Ctp

John Podczerwinsky, AICP CTP has extensive work experience in various roles related to transportation planning and electric mobility. John is currently working as a Battery Program Manager at Lime, where they oversee programs related to swappable batteries operations for electric bikes and scooters. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Principal of BOSS Consultants, LLC, an EV consulting firm, where they focused on forming partnerships in the EV industry value chain and advocating for fair access to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.

Before starting their consultancy, John worked at the Florida Department of Transportation as a Planning Supervisor, where they managed contractual agreements with Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) and contributed to long-range planning efforts related to resiliency and EV charging. John also served as a Project Manager and Transportation Planner at David Plummer & Associates, where they specialized in traffic impact studies.

Earlier in their career, John worked as a Project Manager/Planner III at a small civil engineering and planning firm, as well as a Transportation Planning Project Manager at Collier County Government, where they managed transportation development reviews and contributed to capital project planning. John also gained experience in right-of-way permitting and inspection at the South Florida Water Management District.

Additionally, John has worked in construction estimating at Earthwork Estimating Services, Inc. and as a Calibration Assistant at Kelly Services, where they assisted in emissions testing for the Duramax Diesel launch.

John Podczerwinsky, AICP CTP, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainability and the Environment from Florida International University from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued studies in Construction Management at Eastern Michigan University from 1996 to 2002. John also briefly attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1995 and 1996, focusing on Engineering. Furthermore, John Podczerwinsky has obtained several professional certifications, including the AICP Certified Transportation Planner (CTP) and AICP Certified from the American Institute of Certified Planners. John also holds certifications in Electric Truck Bootcamp, Electric Vehicles, OSHA Construction Safety, Class A CDL, and FCCM - Florida Certified Contract Manager.
