Maria O'Gorman Skelly

Maria O'Gorman Skelly has extensive work experience in sales and marketing. Maria began their career as the Assistant Manager of the Fashion Department at The Switzer Group in 1986. In 1990, they joined the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group as the Sales & Marketing Manager and stayed with the company until 2004. Skelly then worked as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Clarion Hotel Limerick from 2004 to 2008. Maria then moved on to the Limerick Strand Hotel, where they held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing since December 2008. In their role there, they were responsible for key account management and overseeing the strategic management of corporate, conference, banqueting, and rooms revenue. Skelly also focused on developing and executing the sales and marketing strategies for corporate and conference events, as well as managing the sales team.
