David G Armanini is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy and environmental sectors. Currently, David serves as Managing Director of Prothea, where the firm has facilitated approximately Euro 3 billion in transactions for institutional investors since its establishment in 2007. Additionally, David holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board at Altenia, overseeing EPC and O&M services in the electrical infrastructure and solar photovoltaic sectors, and is an Executive Board Member at Limes Renewable Energy, which operates across Italy, Chile, and Southeast Asia. David also leads Riverment as Managing Director, specializing in water consultancy and environmental assessments. Previous roles include being the Science Director at the Canadian Rivers Institute, where David developed ecological assessment systems and managed monitoring projects, and serving on the boards of ESCO Pacific Pty Ltd and Miogas Srl. David's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Naturalistic and Environmental Sciences from Università degli Studi di Milano, alongside various positions in teaching and research in ecology.
