Yusuf Abdulkareem

Yusuf Abdulkareem is currently a Human Rights and Equity Advisor at the Limestone District School Board since November 2021. Previous roles include serving as a Researcher in the Prosecution Division at the International Criminal Court and holding an Investigative Intern position at the Manitoba Human Rights Commission. Yusuf has also worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Human Rights Research and a Legal Intern at Instituto para las Mujeres en la Migración. Additionally, roles as a Contract Analyst at Axiom and a Researcher for the Global Legal Program at the Center for Reproductive Rights were undertaken. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Human Rights from the University of Manitoba, an LLM in International Law and Legal Studies from Loyola University Chicago, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ibadan, complemented by training at the Nigerian Law School.
