Michael Fan

Michael Fan has a diverse range of work experience in the photography industry. Michael started their career in 2011 as a Small Business Owner at Michael Fan Studios. In 2012, they worked as a 2nd Photographer / Assistant at GP Wedding Studio. Michael then joined Brooks Institute of Photography in 2011 as a Checkout Assistant, where they demonstrated expertise in providing customer service and equipment testing. In 2013, Michael became a Creative Project Manager at Ocean Wayne Media, Inc., where they played a crucial role in building the human resource team and event coordinators. Michael also handled equipment troubleshooting and training of new employees. Simultaneously, they worked as a Photographer at Kevin Lee Studio from September 2013 to December 2017, enhancing their photography skills. Most recently, Michael joined Lin and Jirsa Wedding Photography in September 2021 as a Photographer. Overall, Michael has gained extensive experience in photography, customer service, project management, and business ownership throughout their career.

Michael Fan attended Pasadena City College from 2008 to 2009, where they studied Japanese Language and Literature. Following this, they enrolled at Brooks Institute in 2009 and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, majoring in Professional Photography.
