Yangyao Ding

Yangyao Ding has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2016, Ding worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they conducted research and contributed to projects. Later, in 2017, Ding became a PhD Candidate at the university while also taking on the role of Teaching Assistant Fellow. Their role at the university lasted until 2021.

In 2019, Ding joined Lin and Jirsa Wedding Photography as a Third Photographer. They gained valuable experience in the field of photography until their departure date is unknown.

In 2020, Ding joined Eugenus, Inc. as a Modeling and Simulation Engineer. In this role, Ding was responsible for various tasks, including deriving a reaction set for an ALD process and implementing a Monte-Carlo based surface model. They also developed CFD and thermal models for different deposition reactors. Their tenure at Eugenus, Inc. ended in 2021.

Yangyao Ding holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, earned between 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, Ding obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, completing the degree program from 2013 to 2017. The additional certification Ding obtained is "Algorithms for Battery Management Systems" from Coursera, earned in March 2022.
