Rachel Puri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rachel began their career in 2003 at YAI, where they worked as an Assistant Supervisor for six years. In 2012, they co-founded BrooklynWorks at 159 and held the role of Co-Founder until 2014. Rachel then transitioned to Saint Francis Health System as a Registered Nurse for a year before moving to Mount Sinai West in 2015, where they worked as a Registered Nurse until 2017. Rachel then joined the American Red Cross as a volunteer from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, in 2017, Rachel co-founded Lina. Rachel initially served as the Co-Founder and COO and later took on the role of Co-Founder and CEO in 2023.
Rachel Puri's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Hunter College and obtained their BA degree in Psychology in 2003. Rachel then pursued a Master's degree in International Affairs at The New School from 2006 to 2008. In 2012, Rachel attended New York University where they completed their BSN degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse in 2013. Finally, in 2021, Rachel enrolled in the Harvard Business School Online and earned a Certificate in Leadership Principles, Management & Leadership.
