Amir Norouzi, PhD, is a Senior Hydraulic Engineer at Lina T. Ramey and Associates, Inc. (LTRA) since September 2016. Previously, Amir served as an Instructor and PhD Student at the University of Texas at Arlington from February 2012 to May 2016, teaching Basic Fluid Mechanics and managing the Applied Fluid Mechanics Lab. Amir also worked as a technical expert in the Department of Rivers, Estuaries, and Coasts at Yekom Consulting Engineers from March 2009 to December 2010. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources Management from the University of Texas at Arlington (2012-2016), a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Methodist University (2010-2011), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (1999-2004).
