Philip Colmer

Philip Colmer is an experienced IT professional with a rich background spanning over three decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Director of Information Services at Linaro since December 2012, Philip holds previous director positions in IT and Information Services at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as IT Manager at DANTE, where responsibilities included managing corporate IT infrastructure for projects like GÉANT, and as Director of Enterprise Technology at ProQuest, overseeing a 22-member department that supported 1,500 global employees. Philip began a career at Acorn Computers, progressing through roles such as Communications Team Leader and Senior Systems Administrator, where significant achievements included establishing network infrastructures and managing software projects. Philip earned a BSc Hons in Computer Science from Portsmouth Polytechnic.
