Randy Linnell has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Randy started their career in 1990 at NewQuest Technologies, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Technical Support. Randy then moved on to Franklin Covey, where they held various leadership roles, including Director of Customer Service, Director of Technology Innovation, and Director of Strategic Alliances. In 2002, Randy joined Linspire, Inc. as the Vice President of Customer Service, and later became the Vice President of Business Development. At Canonical Ltd., they served as the Consumer Services Manager and Global Alliance Manager, focusing on revenue growth through commercial agreements and managing relationships with software vendors and consumer-facing service providers. Randy worked at Linaro twice, first as a Business Development professional, and then as the Solutions Director. During their tenure, they successfully closed multiple multimillion-dollar deals and played a critical role in expanding Linaro's membership base. In their recent role as a self-employed Business Development Consultant, Randy provided expertise in business development to clients. With a deep understanding of strategic alliances, international distribution agreements, and revenue growth, Randy has developed a strong track record in the technology industry.
Randy Linnell's education history includes studying Pre-med, Spanish, and Business at Brigham Young University. Randy later pursued a degree in Business Management with a minor in Spanish at Weber State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts.
