Nick Abbott

Nick Abbott has a diverse work experience in various roles in the procurement and housing management field. Nick currently holds the positions of Chair of Audit and Risk Committee and Independent Non-Executive Director at LHC since 2023 and 2022 respectively. Before that, they were the Project Lead for Cartrefi Hydrogen Homes and the Procurement and Value For Money Manager at Linc Cymru starting from 2020. From 2018, they chaired the Executive Committee at WPA (Welsh Procurement Alliance). Prior to that, they served as the Procurement Manager at Bron Afon Community Housing from 2016 to 2020, and as a Procurement Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council from 2013 to 2016. Nick'scareer started as a Contract Officer at Selby District Council from 2011 to 2013.

Nick Abbott has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from the University of Nottingham. Nick is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, with the MCIPs designation.
