David Lai

Orchestra Contractor/music Coordinator at Lincoln Center Theater

David Lai serves as President of Park Avenue Artists since April 2011 and has held the role of Orchestra Contractor/Music Coordinator for Lincoln Center Theatricals since January 2008, working on notable Broadway productions such as "South Pacific," "King and I," and "My Fair Lady." In addition, David has been the Music Director/Conductor for "The Phantom of the Opera" since August 1994 and has coordinated orchestras for various Broadway shows including "Hadestown," "Come From Away," and "Mary Poppins" since 2000. David previously held senior positions at IMG Artists and Sony Music Entertainment, where responsibilities included A&R and producing for renowned artists like Yo-Yo Ma and Joshua Bell. David holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Engineering/Economics and Music from Brown University.
